Mr. Narayanan Ram, Chief Executive Officer, PurpleTeal, Inc., is an experienced entrepreneur with deep roots in the information technology industry. He was previously the Chairman & CEO of SeeItFirst Inc., a video software tools company that Mr. Ram founded in 1997. He conceptualized, architected and implemented the first 'interactive frame-based video streaming technology and received patents for the same. Mr. Ram raised millions of dollars in capital from NBC/GE, MKS Ventures, and Deutsche Bank. He launched the first product in 1998, and built up a blue chip customer base with more than 100 implementations in US, Japan and India. He also put together a strong management team and Board of Directors. SeeItFirst was acquired by the UB Group in 2001, and Mr. Ram continued as CEO until 2004. Before founding SeeItFirst, Mr. Ram worked for Cirrus Logic in various capacities from 1993 to 1996, and helped deliver their first video-conferencing chip. Mr. Ram joined Cirrus Logic after his undergraduate degree in 1993. Within a few months, he was promoted to Senior Engineer, then to Manager of Video Telecom Products in 1995. In 1996, at the time of leaving Cirrus Logic to found SeeItFirst, Mr. Ram was Director of Video Telecom Products. Mr. Ram has an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and holds several patents.
Anand Subra, Ph. D., Chief Knowledge Officer, PurpleTeal, Inc., is a co-founder of PurpleTeal and is responsible for new product development as well as providing knowledge support for strategy, marketing and delivery initiatives. He was previously with IBM for 20 years, where he held various positions in sales, marketing, consulting, strategy and business development. He helped a number of multinational firms in successfully developing and implementing their business strategies and operational initiatives. He also led the business development of IBM innovation management services and later spearheaded these services in the health care industry. Dr. Subra obtained his Bachelors' degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Ph. D. from the University of Minnesota in the Management of Innovation. He has co-authored journal papers, and holds US and foreign patents.
Suresh Narayanan, Chief Marketing Officer, PurpleTeal, Inc., heads global marketing, sales and business development. With over 25 years of experience in sales, business development and marketing. Suresh spent the last 18 years boot-strapping several start-ups and building them up as profitable organizations with multimillion dollar sales revenues. He brings proven abilities in developing sales potential in new market areas, and creating key alliances and partnerships. Prior to joining PurpleTeal, Mr. Suresh Narayanan spent 15 years with the SSI Group, where he headed their US operations which included: Clientsoft, SSI Technologies and Aptech Worldwide Corporation. A graduate of Loyola College, India, Suresh obtained his Master’s degree in Management from Annamalai University, India. He is highly experienced in Business Development, Business Strategy, Strategic Alliances, Business Process Improvement, Branding, Outsourcing, Organizational Development, Competitive Analysis, and Mergers and Acquisitions.
Prasanna Kumar, Chief Architect, PurpleTeal, Inc., has over 25 years of experience in Enterprise Application Development and Application Architecture. He is highly experienced in designing and implementing end-to-end integrated systems. Prasanna has delivered numerous technical solutions that translate business strategies into practical, efficient and scalable services. He is responsible for evaluating technologies and making key architectural decisions, as well as maintaining in-depth knowledge of the organization's systems. Prior to joining PurpleTeal, Mr. Prasanna Kumar worked as Enterprise Solutions Architect and Senior Programmer for SSI Group, where his services were rendered to SSI Group's elite clients like Siemens USA, American Honda Motors and American Healthcare Group. Prasanna Kumar obtained his B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from SKD University, India.
